100 Free Mental Health Resources You Didn’t Know Existed in 2026

The internet is full of mental health resource lists, but they tend to feature the same websites, apps, worksheets, and crisis resources over and over again. This isn’t one of those lists.

For this collection, I went looking for the resources that are harder to find: tools buried on university websites, free workbooks from hospitals and government agencies, lesser-known mental health apps, clinical assessment tools, online support communities, professional training opportunities, and genuinely useful resources created by researchers, clinicians, and organizations doing interesting work in mental health.

The result is 100 free mental health resources you probably didn’t know existed in 2026.

Some are designed for therapists and other mental health professionals. Others are useful for anyone interested in improving their mental health, learning new coping skills, understanding themselves better, or finding additional support. Many could easily have remained buried several pages deep in a Google search.

Everything on this list is free to access at the time of publication, although some sites may also offer paid products or services. I’ve organized the resources by category so you can skip around, explore, and hopefully discover at least a few things you’ve never seen before.

And if you’re anything like me, you may end up opening far too many tabs.
